FOUNDER
MIKE "PRIME TIME" POST

The late Mike " Prime Time " Post was born to be a champion.  Mike was a natural athlete who chose to follow his passion for boxing after playing Junior A hockey, US college football, and track and field.  After an undefeated amateur stretch, Mike began his professional career in 2004 and put together a very impressive record of 17-1-1 as well as becoming the WBE US Welterweight champion and the LCO light Welter weight Champion.  Many international boxing greats recognized Mike's talent and this led him to become a sparring partner for many top-level fighters, including Miguel Cotto.  Before  Mikes most untimely passing, final negotiations were being made that would have had him fight for the IBA World Jr Welterweight title in May 2009.

Mike was a fixture in the Oakville community, a role model to young people and an inspiration to all.  Mike took part in many charity events and ran a summer sports camp out of the gym that he owned, providing kids the opportunity to learn leadership and self-confidence all while having fun.

In 2006 the late Mike " Prime Time " Post, a professional boxer, had the vision to open a gym in his community that would provide a place for people of all ages to achieve their fitness goals as well as expose them to the sport that he loved in a clean and inviting atmosphere. The gym has the feel of a semi-private club offering fitness options for all.
